Marc Bertomeu Gallego was born in Deltebre, Spain, in 2002. He received his B.Sc. in Chemistry from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) in 2024.
His Bachelor's Thesis, entitled "Study of the Counterion and Buffer Solution for the Autoantigen of Rheumatoid Arthritis", was carried out at Ahead Therapeutics S.L. and focused on research related to autoimmune diseases.
He subsequently completed a Master's degree in Forensic Genetics, Physics and Chemistry at URV in 2025.
His Master's Thesis, also conducted at Ahead Therapeutics, focused on the validation of a method for the identification and quantification of an active pharmaceutical ingredient with forensic implications.
From 2024 to 2025, he gained additional professional experience at Ahead Therapeutics, participating in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing processes for autoimmune diseases.
From September 2025 to August 2026, he worked as a CMC Technician at the company, contributing to pharmaceutical manufacturing and formulation, analytical method development and optimization using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), quality control, and GMP-compliant documentation and processes.
