He was involved in the Catalytic Boron Chemistry research group, at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, for two consecutive summer stages. Subsequently, he was granted to study the Master in Synthesis, Catalysis and Molecular Design at University Rovira i Virgili and ICIQ, developing the project Diborylmethylation/ring opening of vinyl aziridines and vinyl epoxides.
In 2019, he was granted from URV-Martí Franques programme to carry out the doctoral thesis developing new synthetic methodologies with gem-diborylalkanes and gem-diborylalkenes, under the supervision of Prof. Elena Fernández.
In March 2023, he defended his doctoral thesis, titled Activation of gem-diborylalkanes and alkenes to encompass selective C-C bond forming reactions obtaining the Cum Laude distinction.
